While Toronto has tons of gluten-free options, the further you move out of the city there seemed to be less options but none the less I found some great spots and I am excited to share them with you.
Hope you enjoy my gluten-free guide to Toronto.

We planned on going here after hearing rave gluten free reviews. I called the place on Kensington and they suggested going to Bloor because it is a bigger location for seating uh, Tim Hortons has better seating and we were going at dinner time on Sunday March 11th. Well, we walked in and walked out as we were positive we were in the wrong place. Looked around outside and looked at the address and were confused. Walked in again and realized this was it We walked up to the counter where the girl was working and she literally walked away from us After a couple of minutes of completely ignoring us not even one hello or a smile , I asked her if we were supposed to sit down to order or if they had menus and she said no, you order at the counter and she asked if we were ready.

Best pork tacos I’ve ever had! Friendly service. Our Celiac girls enjoyed their tacos very much. Excellent margaritas sour and salty. And excellent, completely gluten free, food – most of the menu is gfree. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Chicken Tortillas and the Pork Tortillas. We stopped in for a bite before the theatre, and they sped up our meal to accommodate us. We look forward to returning so we can have a nice slow meal. Only negative is the music was just a wee bit too loud.

With an evolving food scene, Toronto combines values from the old and the new. While incorporating the classic poutine that all Canadians love, Toronto has opened its arms to all ethnicities and cultures and that shows in its diverse food.
Toronto is a multicultural city and the food scene is simply a reflection of that. Whether you are strolling down by the waterfront or travelling your way up Yonge Street, you can experience so much and taste so many different flavours. As a growing and changing city, Toronto is actively adapting a strong gluten free restaurant culture. This evolution is driven by the large community of gluten free advocates and supporters and I feel confident that this network of advocates will continue to move the needle, pushing for more gluten-friendly restaurants to take root in this thriving city.
